Mission Statement
The purpose of the Manitoba Choral Association is to advance knowledge and appreciation of, and to stimulate interest in, the choral arts by:
- the presentation of choral festivals and workshops
- promoting choral opportunities for young singers
- publication of a choral journal
- the provision of resource personnel and advisory services to choral groups
- encouraging publication of, and presentation by, choral music by Manitoba composers
- providing opportunities for presentation of Canadian choral works
- the encouragement of inter-provincial and international cooperation in choral arts
