He returns to Winnipeg to perform with WoN Massed Choir to showcase the accomplishment from these workshops at the annual WoN Spring Fling. $15 Adults; Children under 12 are free Available at the door. Friday - Monday, May 21 - 24, 2010 Knox United Church, 300 Edmonton St., Winnipeg MB Canadian GLBTT Choirs Unison Festival 2010 Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, two spirit and friends choruses from across Canada gather every four years to share their music at what has come to be known as the Unison Festival. Previous festivals have been hosted in Edmonton 1998, Toronto 2002, Vancouver 2006 and now Winnipeg 2010. Approximately 17 choirs and 450 singers will be performing 30 minute concert blocks on Saturday and Sunday. Winnipeg's Rainbow Harmony Project will host the Opening Night Concert on May 21, 8 PM. The concert will include a special performance by a GALA Choruses choir composed of singers from throughout the USA. Monday, May 24, 11 AM will feature 3 Festival Choirs and the Closing Exercises. Thursday, May 27 - 7 pm Daniel McIntyre Collegiate Gymnasium, 720 Alverstone St., winnipeg MB DMCI's Choral groups: Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, DMCice and DMCchill Cynthia Wahl and Graham Dion, conductor Spring Sing DMCI's music program will be on display: Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, DMCice jazz choir, DMCchill jazz choir, Concert Band and Jazz Band in a fantastic wrap up to our year! $5 From any DMCI music student, or at the door!
