A Gala Concert culminating a Symposium of Male Voices. All 6 choirs will perform individually and then combine to form a mass choir under the directorship of Brainerd Blyden-Taylor of the Nathaniel Dett Chorale.

Women of Note have had the privilege of working with Robert Cooper, one of Canada's leading choral conductors, in two workshops. He returns to Winnipeg to perform with WoN Massed Choir to showcase the accomplishment from these workshops at the annual WoN Spring Fling.

Canadian GLBTT Choirs

Unison Festival 2010

Gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, two spirit and friends choruses from across Canada gather every four years to share their music at what has come to be known as the Unison Festival. Previous festivals have been hosted in Edmonton 1998, Toronto 2002, Vancouver 2006 and now Winnipeg 2010. Approximately 17 choirs and 450 singers will be performing 30 minute concert blocks on Saturday and Sunday. Winnipeg's Rainbow Harmony Project will host the Opening Night Concert on May 21, 8 PM. The concert will include a special performance by a GALA Choruses choir composed of singers from throughout the USA.

Monday, May 24, 11 AM will feature 3 Festival Choirs and the Closing Exercises.
