Sunday, April 1, 2012 - 7:00 PM Westworth United Church, Lanark and Grosvenor, Winnipeg MB Ed and Millie Hildebrand , conductors Hymns & Humours In the spirit of the early definition of "Humours", meaning "well-balanced", the University Concert Choir celebrates its year end with an evocative collection of choral pieces that includes representation from the sacred and secular oeuvres, folk inspired art, spirituals and at least one early blues song. Guest soprano Sarah Kirsch will perform a collection of vibrant selections from her own repertoire and will be joining the choir in a medley from Viennese operetta. Adults: $12, Students: $5 Tickets available at the Faculty of Music (474-9310), from singers and at the door.
Friday, April 6, 2012 - 3:00 PM Westworth United Church, 1750 Grosvenor Ave., Winnipeg MB Along with many volunteers from the community Stuart Sladden, conductor Mozart's Requiem (K 626) A presentation of Mozart's Requiem. This presentation is a free community event in support of Westworth's Choral Scholarship program. This concert features 4 very talented soloists: Caroline Markos (Soprano), Meghan Symon (Alto), Wes Rambo (Tenor), and Howard Rempel (Bass) And a 16 piece orchestra! By Donation

Freewill Offering will be taken.
Friday April 13, 2012 - 8:00 PM St. Matthew's Cathedral, 13th Street and Louise, Brandon MB Brandon University Chorale Dr. Andrée Dagenais, conductor A German Evening of Romantic Sacred and Secular Choral Music The repertoire will feature some German Romantic period sacred and secular repertoire. We are accompanied by a trio of clarinet for some Mozart selections. We will also perform plenty of a cappella gorgeous music. Floyd Gadd, tenor is our featured guest soloist. Geordie Waddell is our pianist accompanist. Adults: $10, Students: $8
