Scott Reimer & Leanne Cooper-Carrier, Conductors

Through the Night

Featuring a broad palette of works by many Canadian composers as well as a few choral giants from the USA and northern Europe, "Through the Night" pursues freedom and hope amid turmoil and grief. This musical experience is meant to be a beacon of hope in honour of the recent opening of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights and all those around the world whose human rights have been foregone throughout history.

Featuring works by: Brian Tate, Eric Whitacre, Abbie Betinis, Kristopher Fulton, Sid Robinovitch, R. Murray Schafer, Eleanor Daley, and others.

The creation of Horizon expands the Prairie Voices Inc. family of choirs to meet the needs of a growing choral community. Operating as a 'sister' ensemble to the existing Prairie Voices choir, Horizon is a vibrant, high-calibre community choir composed of talented adults ages 26+ who love to sing! Conducted by Scott Reimer and Leanne Cooper-Carrier, Horizon continues PV's world renowned tradition of bringing style, energy and passion to the stage.
