A Garden of Song

Renaissance Voices is pleased to present a choral celebration of spring: A Garden of Song. With guest pianist Rebecca Klassen- Wiebe, the chamber choir will be presenting music by; Thomas Morley, Benjamin Britten, Clement Janequin, and George Shearing.
What would springtime in Winnipeg be without a touch of snow? Renaissance Voices is pleased to be sharing this concert event with our special guests, The Snowtones. Formed in 2010, The Snowtones is a Winnipeg acapella group comprised of 4 of the city's busiest choral singers! Group members count The Winnipeg Singers, the National Youth choir, Canzona and Camerata Nova as groups they have performed with . For this concert , the 'Tones put their unique spin on favourites by the Beatles, Van Morrison , ABBA, a Broadway musicals medley and a madrigal or two. The group will join Renaissance Voices for the final song cycle by George Shearing.

Refreshments available when the doors open at 2:30 p.m. Café Seating.

Adults $25.00, Students $15.00
Tickets available at McNally Robinson Grant Park, from choir members, or at the door.
