Fort Richmond Collegiate is looking for an Accompanist/Assistant for the vibrant and growing choral program.
The Manitoba Choral Association (MCA) is seeking an Executive Director to be hired on a full-time permanent basis following the successful completion of a six-month probationary period.
The candidate will have experience in arts administration and communications for the not-for-profit / charity sector. Working closely with the MCA Board, the Executive Director will be responsible for the successful delivery of MCA programming and services including, but not limited to, Manitoba Choralfest, Provincial Honour Choir, professional development programs, and the MCA Library. The Executive Director will be expected to organize, market and manage events, solicit funding, and complete reporting requirements according to procedure and within budgetary and strategic guidelines.
Applicants should have a post-secondary degree or equivalent experience in arts management and communications. Applicants will be expected to have excellent computer, verbal and written communications skills. They will be fluent in social media platforms and show discernment and maturity in communicating with, and expanding, MCA membership and media followers.
Hoosli’s main objectives are to contribute to the development of Canadian culture by promoting and preserving Ukrainian cultural traditions; to educate the public about the origins of Ukrainian performing arts; and to encourage and enhance understanding and appreciation of Ukrainian-Canadian cultural traditions.
The Winnipeg Jewish Chorus at Congregation Shaarey Zedek is looking for a collaborative pianist to join the artistic team, with rehearsals beginning on October 9, 2018. This is a brand new choral ensemble dedicated to the performance of Jewish choral music, among other repertoire including pop, classical, contemporary, gospel, and world music, just to name a few.
