Seeking applications for the position of
Managing Director

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Managing Director ensures the successful operations of the TCC by planning, organizing and directing all Fund-raising, Marketing, Financial, and Administrative activities, in line with the strategic goals of the organization.   

Responsibilities include: overseeing all aspects of the administration functions of the organization; setting and managing budgets, developing a high functioning administrative team, creating an effective annual operating plan including the yearly calendar, marketing and communications, development, and human resources, and providing leadership in developing and executing the strategic plan. 

The ideal candidate will have a background in choral or classical music administration, experience in working with young people, and a degree in arts and/or business management or equivalent experience in cultural management.  

Experience with (1) managing administrative staff; (2) managing multiple projects and timelines in an artistic organization; and (3) communicating with diverse stakeholders (parents, guest artists, board members, donors, granting agencies, is an asset.
