Winnipeg Music Festival
The Winnipeg Music Festival is seeking a full-time assistant to the Executive Director. The successful candidate will work with, and report to, the Executive Director.
We are looking for someone who is well organized, able to meet deadlines, multi task, work effectively with volunteers and who possesses strong interpersonal skills. Ideally, applicants will have had exposure to arts groups and the philosophy and guiding principles of non-profit organizations. Applicants should be proficient in office administrative procedures including the use of Microsoft Suite applications.
Duties include, but are not limited to, assisting with day-to-day reception; inquiries (phone and email); maintaining office files (including electronic); handling mail and other correspondence; issuing receipts and preparation of bank deposits and invoices; data entry and proofreading of same; preparation of festival program, certificates and other materials; and preparation and distribution of support materials for member festivals.
Flexible hours are required during special events.
