Manitoba Sings! Gala Concert

The Manitoba Choral Association (MCA) is celebrating its 40th Anniversary this year in grand choral style.

A total of 14 choirs and ensembles with total over 600 singers

Share in the beauty of sound through a variety of repertoire, including “Sure on this Shining Night” by Morten Lauridsen, and “Hope for Resolution” by Paul Caldwell and Sean Ivory, sung by choirs representing all of Manitoba, and directed by the highly respected choral professionals of our province.

Weaving together a story of Manitoba’s rich choral heritage, our history as the singing province will be presented through a collage of narration, cinematography, and song culminating in a climax of choral excellence that will illuminate the future of choral singing in Manitoba.
