Elmer Iseler Singers Concert & Workshop


The Elmer Iseler Singers will perform Wednesday, 7:30 pm, April 19, 2017 at Sturgeon Creek United Church, 207 Thompson Drive, just north of Portage Avenue.

A renowned Canadian choir, the Elmer Iseler Singers, will make the first stop in Winnipeg on their Western Canada Tour.

The 20-voice professional choral ensemble will stage a concert of outstanding music. This Toronto-based choir is considered one of the finest choirs in North America. The choir, which was founded 38 years ago by the late Dr. Elmer Iseler, is conducted by award-winning artistic director Lydia Adams. Regularly featured on CBC Radio 2, the choir won the 2014 National Choral Award and is recently nominated for a Juno 2017 Award!

Tickets are $25 each ($30.00 at the door) and can be purchased at the Sturgeon Creek United Church Office Wed – Fri, 9-12 (204-832-1000) or McNally Robinson Booksellers.

Elmer Iseler Singers - free Workshop for singers
Wednesday, April 19, 3 pm, Sturgeon Creek United Church

Elmer Iseler Singers, with Lydia Adams conducting, will host a free workshop for local singers who have pre-register and have purchased a concert ticket. Music will be provided prior to the free workshop for singers to learn. At the concert, the workshop singers will perform two selections with the Elmer Iseler Singers!
